How to Install and Use Levvy Slack Integration

Connect your Levvy account with Slack

1. Click on the main menu.

2. Click on "Integration".

Click on Integration

3. Click on "Connect".

Click on Slack in the side navigation and click on `Connect`

4. Click on "Allow access" in the grant access modal.

5. Click "Allow" in the second grant access screen. Ensure the correct workspace from the dropdown menu is selected

6. You are successfully connected, if the text changes to Remove Access"

Install the Levvy app to your Slack workspace

  1. If you can't find the Levvy app in your Slack workspace under "Apps", visit https://levvy.com/slack_integration

2. Click on "Install Slack for Levvy".

3. Click "Allow" in the request for permission screen. Ensure the you've selected the correct workspace from the dropdown menu

Get notified on comments relevant to you

You will receive notifications when:

  • You are mentioned in a comment

  • Comments are added after you are mentioned

  • Comments were left in tasks assigned to you

The notification includes:

  • User who left the comment

  • Task name where the comment is left

  • The comment

Clicking "View in Levvy" opens Levvy in the browser with the task modal, allowing to take action and reply to comment.

Get notified when your task is approved and your team member requests your approval

You will receive notifications when:

  • A user requests your approval for a task

  • Your task is approved or need to be revised

The notification includes:

  • Task name

  • Budgeted hours

  • Assignee

  • Status

    • If the task requires your approval, the status shows Approval Pending

    • If the task assigned to you is approved, the status shows Approval Pending --> Completed

    • If the task assigned to you is not approved and need to be revised, the status shows Approval Pending --> In Progress
