Create custom status

Custom statuses help you easily identify tasks with a colored outline, similar to the default “Blocked” status.

1. Create a Custom Status

1. Go to Company Profile > Company Settings (accessible only to the owner).

2. Click Create Status.

3. Enter a name and select a color.

4. Click Save to add it to the list.

5. Drag and drop statuses to rearrange their order.

2. Apply a Custom Status to a Task

1. Open a task in your workspace.

2. Click the Up Arrow to view available statuses.

3. Select a custom status (e.g., “Pending Client Info”).

4. The task will update and display a colored outline.

3. Remove or Change a Task’s Status

• Click the X button to remove the custom status.

• If time was tracked, the task moves back to In Progress.

• Otherwise, it moves back to Not Started.

• Click the Up Arrow to change to another custom status.

• Mark the task as Complete if necessary.

4. Filter and Report Tasks by Custom Status

• Use the Task Filter or Saved Filters to find tasks by status.

• Custom statuses appear in the filter dropdown.

• In the Team Progress Report, tasks are grouped by both default and custom statuses.
